First race easier than last week, Second race a hair harder. Both went significantly quicker the second week, partly routing the course the other direction, partly swapped over to the PDX, and partly due to better driving.
Adjusted the datafile to put the running portions at FTP (maybe too high, maybe too low)… the result is below. Average power up 23-25 watts. Normalized power up 10-11 watts. The big change to the detail is that the long hard drag to finish each lap looks like it starts with NP* well below the bottom of threshold zone… aka feeling recovered and ready to drill it. In reality, you don’t start that portion feeling good, you start it feeling like shit and it really takes a boatload of motivation to stop yourself from bleeding time on the long straight drag up to the high-point.
