The promise of some coke at the bottom motivated me to roll quick on the descent to Oak Creek. Nate and Tim probably didn't spend many moments of the day wishing they were 200 lbs but there may have been a few. I topped out at 74 kph in a gravel-washboard-aero-tuck. #YOLO #RaphaPrestige

The dirt roads got rowdy on the second south loop, on-par with the 'straight across the farm field' track from OSO three weeks ago. First this climb, and then an occasionally submerged road along the Yampa. Regrettably the camera stayed away for the BB-deep mud puddles.

Boo Bicycles loaned Tim and I some demo-bikes for the week leading up to and including this ride. Super generous of them, super fun to ride. I thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed riding it and now am plotting a way to save enough nickels and dimes to buy one of my own. Time will tell.

Sad day, @run_no3 and I had to give the bamboo spaceships back to @BooBicycles after a seriously awesome week of ripping 'round the roads, back lanes and trails of Fort Collins and Steamboat. #SockDoping
